Next Calis Car Boot - Sunday 17 February
« on: February 05, 2013, 18:31:47 PM »
The next Çalış Car boot sale takes place on Sunday 17 February.

The popular monthly Sunday car boot sales organised by the Çalış Children’s charity (3C’s), which are now in their 6th year are held in the car park next to the Bahar Hotel on Çalış seafront. They attract buyers and sellers from across the whole of the Mugla area and are a good hunting ground for bargains as well a great social event. They also enable local charities to raise funds for their various good causes. The organisers, the 3C’s, raises money from their stall and from the net stall fee hire, to fund projects to help local children.

The organisers are pleased to advise that despite the increased costs of table hire, they are absorbing these costs and that the price of hiring a stall at the sale will remain at  15TL which includes two tables for the rest of the season. The sale is from 8.00 to 2.00 pm with set up from 7.00 am.

The 3C’s charity shop at nearby Eyna Restaurant will also be open from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm on Car Boot Sunday and to make way for the new Spring season clothes, all winter clothing, shoes and handbags will be on sale at half price.  The shop sale officially  starts on Friday 15 February and will continue until the end of the month.  Normal shop opening times are Mondays and Fridays 11.00 until 2.00 pm.

If anyone has any unwanted items to dispose of but does not wish to have a stall, the 3C’s would be very happy to take these off your hands and can collect them if required. Please ring 0536 373 9520. Donated goods can also be dropped off at the 3C’s charity shop at the Eyna Restaurant on Çalış seafront.

For those who will not be around for the February sale, the next car boot will take place on 24 March. For further details  please ring 0536 373 9520  (English speaking) or 0534 648 9679 (Turkish and German).
