Title: Just taken the step
Post by: Janbee on May 03, 2012, 13:52:38 PM
We have taken a big step and moved lock, stock and two cats to live in Calis Beach!  We took the plunge and bought a lovely 3 bed apartment, from Oyken Ocek, 100per cent satisfied with process! While on the subject does anyone know where I can get reasonably priced cat food? :D It's also nice to know that we have left the wettest April in Broadstairs, Kent!  8)

So we've heard! We will be prepared and hope for the best ! We were over looking Joss Bay last week, and the sea was too rough even for the local surfers, and they went to Viking Bay, in Broadstairs! :(

For the cat food we use Kent vets next to Migros the best priced around and a lot cheaper than the supermarkets.

I use Ankavet just past the court on the way to Fethiye - they will have to give up the wet food - it is too expensive and goes off really quickly in the heat.   Whiskers about 7.5 lira for a bag  :-)

Animal aid use Temizmama, it's an online site, 15kg of cat food is 50 tl

You need a Turkish credit card to order.

Welcome to the madness of Calis Beach, you will almost certainly love it, good luck x

Hi Elegancesue and welcome to Calis!  We have never looked back coming to live in Calis, nor have our two cats, Jim and Rosie.  We used Pet Air to bring them over, and they sorted out all the paper work and wooden boxes for them for the flight.  We flew with Thomas Cook and they were on the same flight.  When we arrived at Dalaman the cats were there waiting for us by outside the office by the luggage carousel.  As we live on a small complex the cats don't go very far and don't mix with the street cats! We went away for 3 weeks recently and we left the cats at a wonderful cattery, www.catteryboardingfethiye.com is the website.   8)
