Nar and Pekmez from the markets. A jar of that very very strong crumbly cheese we eat there with walnuts and puffy bread. I also brought some sumac back but it had crawlies in it. :o.

Hummus, Olive salad, pepper dip and Sham Tatlisi from Mozaik Bahche  for my son,  who gets withdrawal symptons from these delights after a while.  Always keep my fingers crossed Ill get through ok with them.

A selection of sweeties from the supermarket the family love them and particularly the Pistachio chocolate bars.
Also a few of boxes of Turkish Delight but only from the Turkish Delight Factory where it is ultra fresh.  Phil takes  a couple of boxes into his work and just leaves them open for the everyone to eat.  In fact, now when he is going on holiday they all tell him not to forget the Turkish Delight.
Although not strictly food stuff... Some antibiotic tablets  and some sleeping tablets.
Always bring home some spices etc.,
