Things are looking up,      :) just had a reply from the Oykun Hotel today regarding my cancelled booking for our stay from monday 15 th june ,to say that they  HOPE to reopen on 15 th july   with restrictions as required  ,as they are informed that the corona virus restrictions will be lifted from this day, fingers crossed,  this  will to get  hotels / bars/ restaurants to try to get back on their feet for the rest of the season ,just hope that  turkey and  UK  lift the ban on flights.
pictures I had also  just seen show empty  prom / beach , mostly closed up shops/ bars ect  it looks so sad   :-[ nice to see Gunisik  open with new look  restrictions in place and a few people in there.

will we go this season  !!! yes you bet  we will,   will you go ??

Hotels opening on 15th July is one thing. Getting flights at sensible prices is another.

Booked to fly out on the 27th July with EasyJet. Waiting on confirmation of flight, which website says will be at least 21 days before flight. If they pull the flight then will definitely be looking for alternatives. Will try our best to get there!!

It appears they are cancelling on a daily basis, 14 days before departure date.

Probably another case of saying one thing and doing another!!
From the easyjet website: Flights listed as Sold Out
We list a flight as ‘Sold Out’ when it is full, or when no more seats are on sale because we are uncertain if it will operate. An increased number of flights are currently showing as Sold Out because, in light of Covid-19 and evolving travel restrictions, we do not have certainty that some flights will operate. If you have an existing booking on a flight which now shows as ‘Sold Out’, we will be in touch at least 21 days before your departure date to confirm your travel details.

Bars and restaurants are open on Calis prom, but not the tourist ones. Some are quite busy. Umbrellas and beds on the beach.

Should I buy my masks at the UK Duty Free on the way out, or are they cheaper in Çalış ?
