Just heard the loudest thunder clap in my life. The whole house shook and the TV turned itself off and hid in the corner !

You're lucky it was just your telly, everything off here for around 15 mins, including the oven with my dinner in it!!

Same here Liz, dinner in oven, even had an ornanment fall off a shelf!!! We turned our tv and computer off as a precaution, must get a power surge thingy, anyone know whats best to get??
