Just finished Reading this on kindle. The 1996 diary of an American couple Karen and Ray Gilden who have the opportunity to rent an apartment for a year in Gocek. A lovely read no surprise that they loved Turkey and makes a light hearted read. Wonderful. They have a website which has some of the photographs from the diary on the website. Enjoy

Really bugging me now.

I love books like that, do you remember Driving over lemons, or something like that, I remember just wanting a new lifestyle & giving it a go. So inspirational. Will add yours to my never ending wishlist. Still on Birds without wings and looking out for Turkish Family
