Iv just looked at a flight for my OH firstly putting it in as a return with Thomas Cook then as a one way Dalaman to London and it is £15 more to book it as a single flight, im sure in the past i have read on here there is a way to combat this, any advice as always will be greatly received ;)

Book a return but don't use the return part

Do you mean the cost of the one way section was more expensive if you just booked one way?

Yes Stoop i looked up Thomas Cook Lgw to Dal and back, the return was £55 ( we r already in Turkey) but when i put in just Dal to LGW it was then £70 seems very wrong of the airline to do this not sure if its just TC as did not try any others!
Sorry the heat is addling me! I mean the flight coming back was £55 now £70 not there and back for that price! ;)

I thought so. LDD was confused I think. It wasn't cheaper for a return that one way otherwise you could do what's suggested and book the return but just use one of the legs.

Ahh sorry no you can't do that if it's the second part of the return you want to use.

Try following Thomson on FB or Twitter. Often some very good flights one way and return.

T hanks Stoop i have booked one via Skyscsnner with Monarch it was £64 but for some reason on paying it was £69 that was with nothing extra and apparantly no credit card chsrges!
