When is the last flight out of Dalaman now there's no Thomas Cook?
Are there any cheaper airlines or routes from Uk .
Thanks for help

Depends where you want to fly to. Easyjet flights for that time not released until April.
-
There are indirect Pegasus flights to Stansted via Istanbul every day of the year
-
So aren't any of the airlines picking up the winter Slack Thomas Cook used to cater to?
Hope you're well Liz x

For winter flights you're mostly going to have to go via one of the Istanbul airports or via Antalya.
Have you considered going via Istanbul and spending a few nights there ?
-
No I haven't done that. What are you reccomending?
-
Well, if you've never been to Istanbul before, it's well worthwhile to spend a few days there. Plenty of places to see and things to do, depending on your tastes. Perfectly safe for nice single ladies, and probably you too ;).
Dead easy to get from either airport into the city centre using the Havabuses. And cheap too. For instance Sabia Gokcen (SAW) to Taksim is just 18TL. They run roughly every half hour from 4am until 1am.
Have a look on one of the hotel booking websites for hotel prices in your range. Many of them also do free or very cheap transfers.

Makes me think "would the last 1 to leave turn the lights out" :)
I'm going to presume you mean when is the last of the summer flights as there have been non stop LGW to DLM throughout the winter for several years now, not many of them & usually expensive as they involve the Xmas season breaks but they have been there.
Option to go via UK/Istanbul/Dalaman or direct UK/Antalya with a transfer across the mountains.

On the whole subject of uptake of Thomas Cook routes, it’s worth remembering TC aren’t around now because the range of services they offered lost them millions.

Hello Bernie, the best flights we found were from Stansted to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen, flying with Turkish airline for our 3 week trip in May, the wait time for a connecting flight to Dalaman is only one hour and fifteen minutes going and returning wait time is the same, it includes Baggage allowance 20kg and hand luggage 8kg and a meal and drinks on the plane, the price per person return is an amazing £192 each !!! 8)
