Travel Insurance for 30 days plus

I read in one of the threads about travel insurance only being for stays of up to 30 days. We are with Fortis insurance and have an annual policy - we pay an extra £22 per year to have it upgraded to stays of up to 60 days.  When we go to Calis for stays of more than 60 days we go on the internet and book "Backpackers" insurance - it costs us around £80-£90 for stays up to 90 days. Despite it being for backpackers there is no age limit.

We used to buy from Churchill for my daughters, annual policies, 90 days maximum a trip, but, when they wanted to stay longer, I phoned them and they gave them another 30 days for something like a tenner.
