Measles jabs for children travelling

Parents are being advised to make sure that children travelling in Europe and Turkey have had their jabs for measles.Number of measles cases is increasing this year.

Children in Turkey receive a separate measles jab with their routine vaccinations, my son had his when he was 11 months old.

should cover those with MMR, my boy had his measles jab and the MMR. Definately wise to be informed.

The MMR immunisation is a vaccine given in two doses which covers measles,mumps and rubella(German measles).
