UK Home Office Drug Report
« on: October 30, 2014, 15:49:41 PM »
HMG's Home Office commissioned a report on drug legislation. When the report was presented it concluded that tough drug laws were not correlated with levels of drug use. According to the Home Office (the Tory bit of it) this is the "wrong answer" and so they are going to ignore it.

Dear Home Office
How much of my money did you spend on investigating the facts about the efficacy of drugs legislation which was totally wasted because you had no intention of learning anything from the investigation because you are so damned clever you had already got the right answer before it was carried out? Does it concern you at all that your chosen "right answer" was dreamed up over 50 years ago when I was a lad, didn't work then, didn't work for 50 odd years in between, and doesn't work now? Why not?
Yours, A. Voter
