Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0115'
Unexpected error
/forum/default.asp
A trappable error (C0000005) occurred in an external object. The script cannot continue running.
It's coming up when I log on. Has happened over last couple of days
-
Me to but it cleared its self late yesterday evening all seems fine now but i must admit it was driving me mad as you could not login.

Doesn't answer my question GB, (unless I am missing something). Is it a case of it being sorted when Scunner gets back from his break?

-
It's a hosting problem, seemingly intermmitent and seemingly sent to annoy us because Scunner is away and can't put the boot in.

Yesterday and tonight at times
Come Back Keith All is Forgiven
-
We enjoy trouble free access 99% of the time. I'm sure someone is working on it when Scunner is away. :)
-
I'm pretty certain Steve will be looking to sort it asap if not already. No problems for me on Firefox since yesterday (when I was at work and using IE)
-
Same problem for a while, today.
-
Me too - on firefox as well :)
Obviously sorted now though.
-
It happens everytime "terry" posts, which I believe was a problem once (or twice) before.
-
Been ok today so far thanks. It's Firefox I am on too.
:D
-
Please post times when you got an error message. I am told it is being sorted so it will help to know when (from today) access has not been possible. Thanks.
-
Was about 1pm for me I think. I'll make a note the next time it happens.
-
Has happened to me a couple of times earlier today and about 2 minutes ago, just refreshed and it disappeared.
-
And again 1951pm.

It's not quite that Baz - when the server resets we lose our forum settings - hence the colours and formatting etc vanish. It's a struggle to get the pages to load and very hard to post - but if someone does, it takes the first member name it can find which is Terry (2nd member of CBF after me) as the poster.
It is really important not to post at these times as you will be changed and become Terry, and I will come along and delete your post - so best to wait till we have a bit of colour back :)
-
Also had the gremlins round 10/15 mins ago switched from firefox/IE/back to firefox and now all systems go!!!

There has been an error !!
The database could not be opened !!
Check your config.asp file and set the
strConnString so it points to the database.
Also check if strDBType is set to the right databasetype.
Code : 80004005
Error Description :
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10048)

error messages 10:00 to 10:30 ish tonight
-
So I saw.
If you see an error message can you copy it and paste it into a reply in here? That way I can show our incompetent hosts (Dataflame) a full record of what errors are causing our problems on the various occasions we have suffered them in the last few days.
At the moment I am having to deal with idiots - I email them to say it is down AGAIN, they wait till it's back up then email me to tell me it's working ok. Never once have they answered the question "What is causing the problem" - all I get in reply to that is "It's working now".
-
It wasn't just the forum Keith. It was every other link on cbf as well Villas for rent, real estate etc.
