My husband was father Christmas at our local nursery in Ovacik last year and one Turkish Dad was shouting at his little girl to go back and kiss Santa and when she did the sheer look of delight on the dad,s face was something I,ll not forget.

I have just read these posts and I have been moved to tears. Thank you everyone for your congratulatory remarks. A special thanks to Chrissie, Pete and Mark for theirs but to everyone who was there with us on Sunday. (especially my partner in crime) Love to you all. You are brilliant. May I say Elf. Never seen you looking so gorgeous but where were the smiles. Anyone would think that you were embarrased wearing a green suit!!

It was worth every ache and pain, every meeting, every present wrapped, every brain storm we had and every hour we were there(12) Can honestly say that the committee enjoyed it as much as the visitors did. Just the sheer delight on the kids faces, to see so many happy adults enjoying the day and the traders and bars doing so well. We have a loverly dedicated crew on board the Carnival Committee and its a joy to be part of it. (Never to late to join us!!) My partner in crime is just the best:D
