you may have had a bad experience but I can assure you it's not usually the case at Lukka which is a great little place, nice staff and eaten there a few times without issue.Sorry they must have had an off day

Staff are great no issues!, but a frozen piece of cod 200 yards from the beach is silly..came before and food was great but it needs to be good every time.

You really think they catch cod from Calis beach?

What did they say when you complained?   Did they offer you a refund or a replacement meal?

We go into Lukka for a drink now and then but have never had a meal. We have seen too many meals handed back so would not take a chance.

For the record, the best F&C I've had in Calis is from the little café next to the Pork Shop on the Baris Manco at the Aydin Pide traffic lights. Had to wait 20 mins for it to be cooked, which I don't mind and it was fresh fish.

We have eaten at Lukka many times, admittedly we have never had fish but their 'Lukka Fried Chicken' has always been good. It will be our first port of call in September.
I would like to think that if they had be told about this they would have had the chance to put it right, hopefully you will give them another go.

The folk who go there, go as customers expecting a decent meal, not as business consultants.  If their food is crap and they haven't got the ability to realise that then maybe they should think about a career change.  Waiters and cooks usually morph into estate agents and property developers in that area.

For me there's so match choice in Calis and fethiye that even if I have an average meal I tend not to go back take Mancheros I have had some great food from there since it opened but last September we had what I would call an average meal (for there high standards) so when we came back in May we went to a restaurant further down the cordon which was really good so will be going there until that has an off day

I agree Trainer especially about Manchero had some really nice meals there, but a really poor one in May. I won't be rushing back. I've had a couple of meals in Lukka but not eaten there for a while.

We had a lovely lunch in Manchero in June.   We had a meal at Lukka about 2 years ago, it was very good and possibly the cheapest meal we had.  The place was quite basic and lots of ex-pats sitting through the house watching a football match.  We noted a lady Chef and remarked at the time not too many of them around in Caiis.    We but did not go back as there are so many places to go.
