Agree with you completely grahamturner09.
He may well have embarassed subsequent governments but the fact remains that he took part in a large scale robbery resulting in injury to ordinary workers carrying out their employment.
He is not owed anything by anyone in the UK.

Political prisoner, Who's kidding who?.
the mans a thug who deserved every thing he got,
I couldn't care less if he's in or out, he's nothing but a sad old joke anyway.
If it was crabbits money he nicked or his dad that was hit over the head he would be singing a very different song.

If it was my money he nicked I still wouldn`t expect him to get 30 years.
If it was my dad he hit over the head I would have given him a medal.
Therefore I wouldn`t be singing a different song.

:) Agree with Crabz on this one, he has probably saved the tax payer more by not living here, the mans lived off his wits and good luck to him, for crying out loud his days are numbered as we speak, every human is allowed dignity in death, and alot of you are living in a country where they allow people eho have committed murder home on compassionate grounds to die alot earlier than Ronnie Biggs has been allowed. As has been said there are bigger criminals running our country.and worse walking the streets being protected by the aforesaid criminals.

Well said.:D
