Currently the BBC radio news is leading its bulletins with the announcement that "Business leaders are saying next Wednesday's public sector strikes will make Britain a laughing stock".

Would that be the same business leaders who awarded themselves an average of 49% pay rises in the last year, who are now complaining that if public sector workers, already on a pay freeze (unlike public sector workers) will now have to pay an extra 5% tax to gain the privilege of retiring later in life on less money, actually have the temerity to protest about the tearing up of their employment contracts, then it will make Britain a laughing stock. Funny sense of humour those "business leaders" have. Or are they just a joke?

Don't worry, we have two parties running the country, we'll be fine. During these difficult times we also have Nick Clegg, who seized the opportunity at a factory, in front of the press - a week from this proposed public sector strike, in the middle of the chaos in the Euro zone, to tell the nation that it is bad that there are no black managers in the Premiership.
