So very sad. I remember her in Keeping up appearances as Rose (the nymphomaniac sister).

Yep. I didn't realise until I looked her up on Wikipedia that it was her. I thought Mary Millar, the 2nd actress to play Rose, was never as good as Shirley.

I remember her in a film where she played a Madam in a Brothel.  She was a very good actress and married to the equally wonderful actor Don Henderson (who died in 1997)  R.I.P.
