Here is a different kind of shock. It is a photograph of a photograph. There is a story behind it. My younger daughter decided to have a photograph her little daughter, Freya, reproduced on canvas as a Christmas present for her husband's parents in Northern Ireland. They didn't want to carry it on the plane when they went over there from Scotland on Boxing Day so she arranged to have it sent directly to her husband's brother who still lives there. So she carefully measured up the size she wanted and ordered online. A week later they got a bemused phone call from the brother. "Erm, that photograph [pause] it is huge!". My daughter had measured the desired size in centimeters but had ordered it in inches. Doh! So here is a photograph of the real Freya sitting in front of a giant copy of herself.
