I'm assuming your referring to the Mayoral Special Appointments.

So what's the big deal?  Other than two who are on a salary, these folks are giving their time and knowledge for free.  Not even expenses.  Who knows what Barbara Windsor brings to the table - I certainly don't and I suspect you don't know either. 

More to be commended than slated I'd have thought.

I bet Barbara Windsor doesn't organize as good a street party as our Mo does for our annual 'do'. Last year the community bobby went away looking bemused after the raffle was fixed and he went away with a prize of a fresh Chew Lake trout caught by one of our angling neighbours.

It's London with a population of nearly 9m, larger than many countries, not Dingwall.
