No problem with that, he was a great friend & sorely missed. I saw his wife last month, she is doing ok, misses Lance terribly but that's to be expected of course. I went up to Catalarik cemetery & paid my respects...

Funny you should post that ec- I really didn't like Bacardi & coke at all. Then we went to Dominican Republic and went on a jeep safari excursion and handed them out - it was sensational! But like you, back home I don't much like it as before

Bacardi n coke started in Spain or the Canaries, like you Echogirl I never drank it at home though, in fact not for long anywhere! Too sweet. (Also coke just like coffee, stops me sleeping).

   Raki.  First time I drank it was a Stag night in Hisaronu, but wasn't told to mix it with ice and water.!!!

   Fantastic night. Drank Raki all night.                           The missus put me to bed.!!!       Blotto.

Limoncello always reminds me of Sorrento too.  I was given some free in an restaurant to taste when we were there and I was hooked. I loved it and it is really nice on ice cream too.  I took a bottle home, but it never tasted the same in Scotland.
