Self Indulgent (to use Highlander's phrase)
« on: June 12, 2016, 01:18:15 AM »
This is my daughter in her school choir - not the best editing - and it's a little brief - but I love this (biased I know). It's a couple of years ago but we just went to another event last week and I thought I'd dig this out.

Hope you like it

I can't stand the song (had an overdose because of our 6 year old) but the performance is pretty good!

Lovely.. The joy of singing as a performance, particularly in a group.  With the possible exception of good comedy and laughter, there is nothing as personally uplifting as listening to good music, and better still singing yourself with all the gusto you can muster, whether in a shower, singing kareoke, singing in a group or choir or just singing along to a record you love... Best tonic possible and does you more good than any old scrip the dictor can give yer!

How lovely. Immediately took me back to our holiday in Calis this time last year. We were joined by my daughter and 2 of our granddaughters, the youngest a rising 5 at the time and the biggest Elsa fan anywhere. She used to sing this regularly, at the top of her voice along with her tablet for background music. Luckily those sunbathing round the pool found it "cute". We still have a house full of Elsa puzzles, pictures, books DVDs etc.  ;D ;D
