No, I've been married to a bloody difficult woman for coming up to 45 years this Autumn, but she doesn't frighten me - largely because I know she never reads CBF.

I wonder what the effect of Brexit will be other than the drop in the value of the pound.

I am hoping it will be less than 8. That is, less than an 8% hit on the UK economy; less than 8% umemployment; and less than 8 years before we see some definite signs of recovery. Of course, I am an inveterate optimist. At least May seems to me to be a reasonably competent politician to lead us through the negotiations my general repugnance at her right wing political views.
