   Sir Jimmy Young , the broadcaster has passed away today, aged 95

   Another legend gone.  RIP

Yes, just read that.  He had a very long and sucessful life.   I remember my lovely, late Mum in Law heaping praise on Jimmy as he diagnosed her Thyroid problem.    She had been to the Doctor a few times and he did not know what was wrong with her.  She listened to Jimmy's programme one afternoon realised that she had a Thyroid problem, she went back to the Doctor to suggest this and after some tests, it was confirmed.
