Are Facebook for real.
« on: November 23, 2016, 22:28:14 PM »
This advert was on F.B.  A website that has cat products.  There were so many comments from shocked people that his was a very dangerous looking weapon. Also women saying they carried one all the time and some very bad racial remarks.   I reported the advert to F.B.  I had a reply to say they had looked at it, but it was not against their rules.... What next a sub machine gun?

It shocks me just how bad things have to be for fb to remove them.
Ive reported some shocking examples of racial hatred, bullying, gross images and always had a thanks but they dont violate our rules type message back.

Tried to join Fethiye Expats on Facebook..They reported me to Facebook and I was banned from writing on any walls for 3 weeks. I wasn't able to wish 3 of my Grandchildren Happy 18th birthday on Facebook or to say I would be attending a funeral for a friend that passed away. When I queried why to Facebook they said there was no appeal. Messaged admins of fethiye ex pats..No response..yet **** like this n plenty more stays unchecked on Facebook every day of the week.I,m still at a loss as to what I have done to deserve to be blocked..

Sorry to read that Bernie,  I understand now why you could not look at the sobas that were for sale on F.B that we were all telling you about.  What a bummer.
I am not a member of Fethiye ex-pats group, possible because I am not an ex-pat   ;) I don't know anything about them,  but I think there maybe CBF member that are also members of F.E.P's so perhaps someone maybe able to ask about this matter for you?   I hope so.  :) :-*

Facebook has announced that it is going to clean its site of fake news. If so, that will surely get rid of 95% of it. Not a bad thing. How is this initiative going? Today's top story is that Melanie Trump is going to divorce Donald. True? What do you think?

Hint: it is Facebook.
