We are not going to call a snap election.
We are not going to call a snap election.
We are NOT going to call a snap election.
We are definitely NOT going to call a snap election.
We are absolutely, definitely NOT going to call a snap election.

We are absolutely, without doubt, definitely NOTgoing to call a snap election.

We are going to call a snap election.

Brilliant timing Theresa.  ;D  We're off to New Zealand tomorrow, will be away 5 and half weeks. Will miss all but the last couple of weeks of the party politial broadasts/campaigning and the rest of the circus that goes with a general election but still back in time to vote!

Next month we have some strange local election for a position that we didn't ask for and nobody seems to understand - it is "Regional Mayor" according to some, but the ballot notification says "Mayor for Combined Authority". Whatever, it is some sort of super mayor (perhaps the winner will be called Weston to underline what a joke it is). We will be Edinburgh for this local election and miss all the excitement (?). And then in June  we will be in TRNC when the General Election is to be held and miss all the excitement (?) again. What a shame.

Well, it looks like the main parties have got their campaign buses sorted already.

The rumours  on T.V. This morning before the announcement were.....  She is callling a General Election or She is retiring because she is a Type 1 Diabetic and is in ill health.   I was surprised to heard the second piece of speculation.  She seems to have her condition under control and appears to be well and ready for campaigning.

Now if she changed her mind over her crackpot plan to bring back Secondary Modern schools then that would be in the national interest.
