Most fuel stations have in the last few days increased the prices by 10/11 kurus per litre. Now BP site near the new law courts are up to 2.14per litre. If you go the BP station just up the road from the patlangic market site. The BP station are still selling for 2.03 lira per litre.A good saving!!!!!!!!!

I don't care, ;) I run on diesel which is the cheapest way out here. :D:D
-
Thats gone up as well Eric.:(
-
lpg must be cheaper, eric
-
When we were first in Turkey LPG was 36,0000 (36)kurus what a bloody hike!
-
Lpg IS cheaper, but when you work out the kilometers per litre you get from LPG, Diesel and petrol, then look at the cost of the fuel, installation costs of the LPG system and then the payback time, diesel works out as the best option overall.
-
I get 20 Liras worth every week and its still cost 20 lira wherever I go.
;)

Not if you buy the vehicle with the gas system already installed.Plus gas delivers 80% of the power of petrol. It really depends on the size of the engines compared.Small petrol engines achieve usually the same mpg as a diesel.
-
Ah, but Tinks, how much does it cost to come back from "wherever you go"?? :D: :)
Gordy.

LPG is up to 2.33 now except fpr the BP Garage on past Tespo. When I bought my car I didn't have the option to buy a diesal version but I would have given the choice. Quite a hike in LPG. No idea what benzin and diesal prices are at the moment.

Diesel is 2.86 at the new garage on the Antalya road just after the Uzumlu roundabout. Cheapest in the area.

Justbeen informed by a guy in Petrol Ofisi that the Turkish Govt is doing away with normal diesel from January and that only Euro Diesel will be available. That will make my central heating ridiculously expensive.
