Hi,
I know people who have done this but you have to have a pension, pay a vast amount into the bank, as insurance that you will take it out again etc.  Usually easier to buy out here, prices for second hand cars don,t seem to decrease.  I have just sold by Toyota Carolla after 6 years and got back exactly the same amount I bought it for

Not worth it. The expense of bring the vehicle here, the amounts you have to pay to get it re-plated, the hassle of leaving it at customs everytime you fly out of the country and then you have the question of spare parts considering the vehicle is for left hand traffic. I had to fly to the UK a few times just to get spare parts for my car which was a Fiat. Never again.
