Hi all, just planning 2018 and would appreciate any advice on the process on the Yellali site about registering Car with customs to enable a UK visit?

Yellali state:
What happens if the owner wants to leave the country without the vehicle?
No problem, the vehicle can be left at your home or at any other safe place. The local customs must be notified before the departure (either one day before or on the same day at the airport). A form must be signed where the driver undertakes to take care that no-one will use the vehicle during his/her absence.

Thanks!

You will need to put it in customs at Dalaman airport. (I think).

Take all of your UK paperwork to the customs office in Fethiye,go into the first or second office on you left as you leave the street, there they will give you a form to fill in,its in English, also a number of the staff speak English, you will need copies of your passport, residency, maybe Tapu,I can't be sure, they will tell you,I have found them very helpful.
Your car will be left where you say it will be,your home?not at any air or sea port.and nobody else should drive it
There is no cost involved apart from your copying. The form issued is meant to be shown at Passport control when you leave Turkey, normally they don't even look at it
 They do close for lunch.

Thanks George, i was aware that I state the location and no-one can drive. I had also read you should have booked return flights but not sure if that is a requirement!
