Electricity name change.
« on: October 27, 2013, 12:47:22 PM »
Hi All.
Does anyone know how much it costs to have a name change on the communal electric supply?
Thanks in anticipation.

Thank you Mog. My friends maintenance man (He lives on their complex) told them it was 300TL and I thought that it was a bit steep.

107 TL is a bit steep - can you imagine being charged £35 by nPower or Eon, just to put your new house's electric bill into your name...

something else relating to Aydem Electric. I signed up to this so called "high user discount scheme" on behalf of our complex. Our summer electricity bills last year ranged between 300tl in April to 900tl - 950tl on 2 occasions in July and August.
I asked how much discount can we expect. The guy told me around 21% +, which was right. I though great saving. What he failed to inform me was that it was subject to 18% tax. Our biggest saving this year was replacing 60 or 70 bulbs with LED ones. Our biggest bill this year was 750tl, and we still have 20 odd to replace + 6 LED  pool lights. We fully expect to save at least anoth 100tl on our most expensive bills.
