Title: My friend has had some visitors
Post by: stoop on July 05, 2011, 12:37:46 PM: My friend and his wife moved to Jackson in New Hampshire a few years back to run a guest house - and yesterday they had some guests return for the new season. The mum comes every year and this time she brought her kids:

Post by: stoop on July 05, 2011, 14:49:17 PM: Pookie - Black Bears are quite tolerant of humans and they are often in John's garden looking for food. Their little dog sometimes gets a little too close though and gets a whack from the mum.

Post by: stoop on July 05, 2011, 16:06:20 PM: No problem. We stayed there two years ago and went for a walk hoping (sort of) to run into some Black Bears but we couldn't find any. I had prepared with spare pants and everything ;-)
