Title: Exchange for Lira

Hi, I'm looking at getting Lira but don't know if it will be better to get it exchanged in Calis. I'm looking here at the best rate on the high st of 3.35 to the £

you will get a better rate if you exchange money in Turkey  :)

Does anyone know if there is anyone to avoid or point me in the right direction of the best place to exchange.

You will get the best rate possible by going into a bank with your passport, better than the change offices. You will need to go into Fethiye to do that, if not there is a change office in Caliş on the street where all the shops are, half way down on the left as you head towards the sea.

Current change shop rates around 3.55TL to £ and I think the banks are somewhere round 3.60TL to £.  It is usually best to change cash in Turkey rather than UK
