Has the rest of the resort changed much? is it still good value for money to eat in the restaurants and bars?

Mostly, although it has increased in price over the past few years. Having said that, we as a family of four, had some lovely meals out in April (always with starters for us and pancakes for desserts for the kids), ample beers and wines, and milkshakes for the girls, and our bill never came to more than 100 - 120 lira (currenly £40 - £50.  We went out for a meal in a local put in Cheshire just after returning from Hisaronu, and paid £56 for 2 main meals, 2 childrens meals and 2 puddings and one drink per person!!! So yes, it still is good value for money! (and not to forget the cocktails at the buzz bar - 10 lira, delicious and plentiful in comparison to the cocktails at Palm Sugar L1, £8.50 each!!!!!!)

We feel Olu Deniz has changed dramatically in 10 years... and not all for the good :(  it still maintains a little of its chill out atmosphere and ambience but it is fast disappearing :( Within a couple of years it will be comparable to the South of France type of resorts...chic and pricey like St Tropez :(
Ah well.. wee have our memories of what it used to be like

We adore Olu  -  it does still have something very special....but OUT of season !!! May / June and September are wonderful times to still find that little bit of peace and relaxation.  We positively avoid it in July and August !!!
