Sadler i totally agree with you i was here for that one in the June! Praise the lord for letting us sleep thru last nights, i must admit iv been a tad on edge today and its reiterated for me i would not be cut out to live here full time becos of the eq's...some tourists were completely terrified and I guess you would be if you dont know Turkey is an eq risk country...

Felt nothing. Zilch. Only knew about it because friends woke me up ringing to check if we were alright.

Glad everybody is ok in Calis
And not any damage to properties

But prayers for people killed and injured in other areas
Does make you more nervous

I had a call from fiends at my house around midnight
Saying the house was shaking
Just what I was supposed to do from my bed in Glasgow
I'm not too sure

Kos appears to have got it worse although I've seen pictures if boats washed up into the streets in the Bodrum area and quite a bit of damage.

Papers are doing their usual sensationalism bit - but to be fair I can see why some tourists might want to swerve holidaying there. Not everyone loves Turkey like what we do  ;)

Evidently it rattled a few coat hangers in our wardrobes and most people woke and went out of their homes.
