changed money today at the atms at the dolphin roundabout. finansbank 4.76. wow.

Ooh how do I go about doing that re the Clarity card please Keith? Also Jack13 how do I go about doing that from my Finas at ATM please? Iv just finalised having new kitchen and the bill in tl sounds horrific lol! So I thought buy tl to pay for it while rate is good! Thanks as always everyone   ;)

the atms at finansbank show the exchange rate and how much in pounds before they conclude the transaction i.e. do you want to proceed or not.

Thanks Jack so do u mean u wivdraw in tl at the xchange rate shown ( i mst admit iv never noticed that before)!  KathB i have been using my nationwide card at AKBANK atm wivdrawing sterling and have not been chsrged, will depend on your banis terms & conditions as to whether you get charged wivdrawing sbroad...my son always does on his Halifax debit card

Got 4.76 in Seker Bank this morning.The change offices in Fethiye were offering 4.68.

Just a note of caution when withdrawing cash with a credit card. Although there may not be a withdrawal fee as such, interest will still be charged as the withdrawal of cash is processed as a loan. Purchases on the Clarity card are interest and fee free, and at the moment gives one of the best conversion rates.  I am happy to be shot down on this one as a credit card which does not charge interest on cash withdrawals would be my dream come true!   :)
