This thread started by Ron prompts me to ask if any of you have kept any photos of Calis bygone years which you would be willing to post on CBF and to share some of your memorable moments.

Lots and lots of photos but majority have family and friends made in Calis but thought I'd post these three (two of Letoon and one of the beach)

Will post some of relating to memorable moments.

I agree with Maria1949 the Post Office Restaurant was where the Kerim is now.It looked onto the water taxi's. Maurice used to park his pink american car outside.

I well remember the Members Album feature in a previous "version" of CBF    :).

PS The bad news is that I am compiling a mini album of our "memorable" moments.

Thank you Highlander for your Letoon photos.  Over the years we have called in at the Letoon either for lunch or just a drink during the day.  I recall some of your previous posts where you indicated that the Letoon was one of your favourite places in Calis.  Your recommendation was the reason we first visited the hotel which we found to be a lovely place to relax and enjoy the views.  We look forward to visiting again in September.   :)

Letoon from 2002 - I can hardly believe how "primitive" it looks.

Know it well Colwyn,we had an apartment near it (Lemon 4 ) and as you say not much going on there, We did call in one evening for a meal/ drink about 9pm but the barman said they had finished serving.
He very kindly took us to the Kemelkara on the Baris Mancho in his car which he recommended.
Only in Turkey     :)

The food must have been good in the "primitive" Letoon, Highlander.............there's not much left on your plates.    :)
