we wivdrew tl today from an Akbank Atm using my Starling card .the message was different to Feb this year I couldn't see anything about charges but the screen was hard to read cos of sun glare,...on checking my Starling it looks like we have been charged 10% fees does anyone know if this is now the case when using Akbank? Always bear in mind that you can often choose “no” at the “Do you accept this charge?” Screen and often get your money but pay no fee. I have no idea If this works with Akbank etc there though.

Thanks all soz wifi was not very good where we were staying. I was not sure if the message had changed as I had no glasses and sun was on screen, on checking my receipt after I posted this I saw I had been charged 5.99% by Akbank so I guess it’s back to wivdrawing sterling and changing it up at best rate place  >:(
Unless anyone can recommend a bank that on using their ATM to wivdraw tl you don’t pay such a high commission fee...
