My friend appears to have a water leak from a pipe embeded in the concrete floor, has anyone a recommendation for someone able to fix this problem please? Without her being ripped off. Thanks.

Have you tried bayram he fixes most things and he is reasonable.

If possible, check if there's an alternate route for the pipe through the roof space for example.
For information, water pipes shouldn't be laid in concrete like this - unless in a duct - but sometimes you have no option in an existing install. Unfortunately most, perhaps even all, buildings in the area have pipes sunk into the concrete.
Laying pipes in concrete like this would not pass building regs in the UK for the reason that, with expansion and contraction, they will break and leak as you have sadly experienced.
Hope this helps and you get it fixed.

We got a plumber and he said it was the worst plumbing he had ever seen. I used to use Bayram but when he quoted 120TL for an electric job that I got done for 80TL, I refrained from going back to him I had used him for 4 years and never bothered to shop around. In saying that, I cannot condemn him. That's what he charges so take it or leave it.
