A friend of mine has a Restaurant two miles from Gatwick in Crawley High Street. Anyone looking to get in the swing of things before the Airport would not go wrong trying the lunchtime special @ £6.50 a head, includes starters main dessert & coffee. The Restaurant is called Marmaris and very good value for money.  :)

Marvellous, I live 10 miles away from there and my husband misses his Turkish food.

Where abouts in the High Street its quite a big place, husband has a few days off sp will have to treat ourselves!

Wow!  We have just got in from this restaurant and it was the nicest meal out that we have had in a long time (in England).  We had a fantastic selection of mezzes for starters and then mixed grill and a Yoghurt Adana, all came with rice and salad or chips, all finished off with a fantastic range of baklava and ice cream, 2 bottles of wine later and we cant move from the sofa, would highly recommend this restaurant!
