I will only tell one story for now, from the enormous list called "Things on CBF that Irritate Me".

Somebody came and asked a question a few days ago. In two days, two pages of answers, opinions, tips and pointers had come as replies to the original question.

I saw the original poster was back online and checked, sure enough he was reading the 2 pages of replies to his question.

Having read them, he was gone.

I don't know why, but it really, really annoys me that after nearly 20 helpful replies from a variety of members, who took time to help, they couldn't find the time even to write "Thanks" in the quick reply box.

Maybe it's my age

your right of course...it only takes a second or two to say thanks...if they even said "thanks for any replies" in the original post would be at least acceptable.
