SO !!!! - now Local Government unions claim that changes to their pensions would amount to a huge pay cut. Funny that, I never, ever heard them mention the word "pension" when they were complaining about the size of any pay rise they got. Rant over - for now !!!

because they don't understand the harsh realities of the real (commercial) world......they live in a fictional world of make-believe [:(!]  Having worked in HR for 20+ years, I've had to deal with some of these guys head on.  Some times its all about 'power' and not about the real issue at all....

Employees should not complain about any changes to their pay and conditions that their employers wish to impose - after all employers only have the best long term interests of their employees at heart and trade unions are thus unnecessary. Workers should happily rip up any contracts of employment they have and thank the boss for permission to come to work. I am thinking of starting a private school to teach the tugging of forelocks for which there will undoubtedly be a lage demand in the coming years.

I don't think I have a forelock Colwyn. Luckily I'm self employed.

I am designing a range of artificial forelocks to be manufactured from the finest human and animal hair. I have not yet finalized a design suitable for your own doubly contradictory class location. I am toying with the idea of it being a swivelling lock on the Janus theme so that your employee side can tug obediently to your employer side. However, I am having difficulty with the corkscrew effect.
