Poking my snout in as well, Marggie you can also set up an email address with one of the free providers and alter the settings to forward any emails to your Sky account.
The benefit is that you can gradually change the email address that you give out, to your existing & new contacts, so that if you terminate your Sky contract everyone you wish to will already have your new address, then you simply turn off the forwarding.
