Villa painting

I agree with Gordon as well, as some painters water down the paint to much and slop the stuff every where. I use Dulux weathershield outside and either Crown or Dulux inside and rarely get any damp patches in the villa.

I happen to know that he used to drive from the UK in his Discovery and brought the paint with him.

Wendy the painters name is Ahmet and his no is 0533 930 8844. Him and partner do an excellent job, no mess whatsoever, they do what is says on the tin.  They work hard and don't want to keep stopping for tea breaks.  When they finished our 3 storey villa, they kept going out to the road and looking.  They decided to paint our double wrought iron gate as they felt it let the the whole effect down.

Yesterday they finished the exterior paint and the irons of our villa and we are very happy with their work and positive approach.

any idea what it might cost to emulsion and gloss a 1 bed apartment. Basically a bedroom, a lounge with american style kitchen and a fully tiled bathroom which will just need the ceiling doing. shouldnt be a fortune should it?

It might be cheaper if you buy the paint , brushes etc and ask the painters what they want for the work. Of course they will advice you and help you what to buy. We did it this way and it was cheaper than others we asked. You can pay the paint etc with credit card as I did , but paid the painters money cash.

This way you can have a better comparison if you ask different painters.
