Pretty funny video, considering it is from zee Germans! Just shows you how bad things have got in the State of
Denmark sorry Turkey when our Prince Reg can't take a joke, nor indeed can the Turkish Government and Diplomatic service. Hopefully this leads to many more, and the more people laugh at him, the more they are paying attention to his overblown ego and powergrab, which will hopefully speed up the final days of his demise.

Trump seems to have enrolled his aides on the same training course as Erdogan's lot. His campaign manager has been charged with battery after grabbing a journalist by the arm and pulling her away from his master. She claims to have received a bruise from the incident. Trump responded that she might have had the bruise before the aide manhandled her. Ah, just like Turkey, eh?

behind closed doors in the US. And in the Hurriet the Army has denied plans for a Coup. Interesting days ahead.??
The US investigators are looking into links between Iran, Turkish individuals and Halkbank (of shoe box fame).

The levels of paranoia emanating from the white (elephant) palace are way off even the despot level - they're now accusing Twitter itself of having an anti Erdogan bias!
Not sure there's enough of spine left in the army Kevin, they were one of the AKP's first targets initially with Ergenekon etc while still in bed with Gulen and subsequently quietly replacing/retiring/nullifying any of the high command who could be a threat. More's the pity - the army used to be the one organisation folks could rely on to protect the secularity of the republic.

You're right, it may not need the army but we all know how it'll be spun - parallel state, forces of evil, everyone out to get Turkey and so on and so on.
No more sunning himself on the Italian Riviera (or any EU country) for young Bilal methinks.

On his visit to Washington, where he won't meet Obama, Erdogan has said that actually the money laundrying is being done by the Gulen Foundation/Parallel State and he has kept telling the US authorities this but they won't listen.

Someone in this house has been singing along to repeats of this... So funny.
Apparently Turkish media used to always have jokes about and caricatures of politicians, and politicians apparently used to sometimes smile. Doesn't happen anymore...
