Morning Everyone,

Can anyone let us know please what the Lira is to the pound in Calis at the moment. Only dont know whether to buy some in the UK as the rate dont seem too bad, or wait until we get there.

Rate is always better in Calis, buy enough in the UK for a day or so, take GBP  8) 8)

Unless the rate drops significantly between buying lira in UK and arriving on holiday - like it is doing now

We normally get most if it in Calis but as it seems quite a good rate at the moment just wondered if we should get some now. What is the rate in calis at the mo! Think Sainsbury’s are offering 5.46tl to the pound!

We bought £500 worth a couple of weeks ago at about 5.7 i think it was, i'm beginning to wish we'd bought more, very undecided if we should hang on & hope the June elections effect the lira in our favour (don't come to Calis till July) or buy more now!! Decision, Decisions   :-\ :-\
