Halkbank and Zarrab.

Now thats a whole different story  :) going to be squeaky bum time in Ankara and Tehran if he spills his guts to the FBI, SEC, DEA and the BBC  :)

You're right, it may not need the army but we all know how it'll be spun - parallel state, forces of evil, everyone out to get Turkey and so on and so on.

No more sunning himself on the Italian Riviera (or any EU country) for young Bilal methinks.

Zarrab's right hand man has told US Investigators he is ready to tell them "everything", and the investigation is being led by

the Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, the lady who cracked  FIFA's Empire.

On his visit to Washington, where he won't meet Obama, Erdogan has said that actually the money laundrying is being done by the Gulen Foundation/Parallel State and he has kept telling the US authorities this but they won't listen.

Oh perhaps Obama will, reluctantly, meet the President of the States' great ally Turkey: "[Biden] is going to make time in his schedule for President Erdogan, and I'm confident that President Obama will also make at least a little time for some kind of conversation with President Erdogan while he's here too," White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters.

Turkey demands withdrawal of German satire mocking Erdogan. Germany refuses. Watch the video that is causing the fuss.

Someone in this house has been singing along to repeats of this... So funny.

Apparently Turkish media used to always have jokes about and caricatures of politicians, and politicians apparently used to sometimes smile. Doesn't happen anymore...
