Anyone follow Fethiye Harbour Bulteni on FB?

If not they are worth following for up to the minute local news. Sometimes it's a bit gruesome as they report on accidents (it's amazing how many there are to be honest).

Also can be quite funny when you use FB translate:

Anti-drowning gold rules

1-you don't swim in a place where you don't know.

Don't go overboard on a water that you don't know.

3-don't try to confirm that you're a good swimmer.

4-and avoid making dangerous numbers and going away.

5-don't trust the air-filled plastic swimmers, like the sea bed and sea glitter.

6-don't leave yourself in the sea. Because without realizing it, the wind and currents can be exposed to the plastic bed or the boat.

7-watch the speed engines while you're on your own, and if you're on a boat, put on a lifeboat,

8-don't push anyone in the water without a sense of humor.

9-to the difference between water and your body, do not dive into the water because it can cause you to get worse and panic.

When you're at 10-swim, get out of the water when you feel bad.

11-don't swim in water water, dams or lakes.

When you see a man who's about to drown and struggling, don't go in there to save him if you have no experience. Because the man who is about to drown will try to hold on to you, and he will cause you to drown himself.
