  Just checked at the CO OP travel again. 24 offers in the windows, none for Turkey, nearest one was Rhodes.

I get Jet2 emails 2 or 3 times a week with lists of great reductions on flights. I don't think a Turkish airport has appeared once this year so far.

  Given the state of things I would have expected the businesses the be inundating the agents with loss leaders or rock

  bottom prices to get bums on the beds. It's almost as though they've given up this season. Antalya is reporting the worst

  tourist season ever.

Part of Antalya's proble, is a heavy reliance on Russian visitors &, since the shooting down of the Russian airforce jet, all diect flights were suspended.

I have tried all the usual Airlines that leave from Glasgow or Edinburgh.  Cheapest is £558.00 for the two of us. This is without factoring in Petrol and costs for a long stay car park.  So possiblly around £850.00 just to fly to Turkey.  No wonder Phil now wants to sell up..
Where are all the cheap flights to Turkey??

I haven't tried this lately, but I wanted to book a retutn flight only, it wouldnt let me. So I went through the process of booking both ways, then cancelled the departing flight and it accepted  the return. Flight booked. Worth a try if you find 2 really cheap flights.

Book a package and then, on arrival, tell the rep that you won't be using the accommodation. Quite a few people do it.
