Title: Dalaman airport to Ovacik

We as yet have never driven in turkey, we are looking at hiring a villa in Ovacik so am interested in how long and how easy is it to get there....

any help with this would be great.

Its about 50-60 mins drive.
It is fairly a straight forward route if you follow the main road to Fethiye after the turning for Calis Beach there is a right turn signposted to Olu Deniz, If you take that turning just keep on going following the signs for Olu and it takes you to Ovacik.

Driving in Turkey really worried me at first but I had no choice - and it really isn't that bad. No road rage, if you want to drive at 5 mph nobody cares, they just go round you.

We would never normally go to Ovacik but due to ill health we have to canx a trip for Mexico for my 50th birthday  :( with Thomson holidays, as so as to not to loose the money we are transfering to a villa holiday, and Ovacik have a nice one there..
