Living directly behind the new mosque in Ovacik, and we are all being summoned to go on the streets to support president Erdogan and the failed coup one year anniversary. It is half past midnight..

Well, what do you expect ? It's the 1st anniversary of the coup attempt. They're not going to hold up the party until 10 or 11 iin the morning when all the bloody expats roll out of their pits. ;)
They'll probably keep the party going 'til at least 1st prayer around 5am and get their 2nd wind about 6am. Get those drums a bangin' !

They think they are celebrating democracy without knowing what democracy is.
Celebrating democracy in a religious building does not fit together because religions order to obey and not to question whereas democracy orders to question and not to obey.

Blimey, I hope that doesn't catch on. I don't want that appalling women in No. 10 leaving me a little message. And then ringing again to tell me me she had changed her mind and she meant the opposite.

I got a text telling me my mobile phone use on July 15th was free of charge. I thought it was because it was my birthday but no, it was in recognition of the defeat of the coup anniversary.
