water bill
« on: September 28, 2015, 06:51:59 AM »
I still have not received a bill under the "New" mugla system, probably as I hardly use any water. Is it possible to pay anyway??? I wand to set up direct payment with the bank and can't until I have paid a bill!
Thanks

I think you need a bill to set up water payment with your Bank, that is how we did it.  Water has gone up quite a lot this year.

To answer my own question, it is possible. I took a photo of my meter, writing down reading, number stamped in the rim and of my water tag. Called at the water office opposite A101, helpful. Bill paid & receipt. The bank I use however is not one that was listed as taking direct payments for water!

The Muski (Water Board) Office is on the main road now opposite a new A101 supermarket which has taken over the building that used to be the turkish delight factory.

If you were travelling from Calis it is on the main road into Fethiye and just after the Calis Kipa but before you get to the traffic light crossroads where you would turn right to go to the Kordon.

Whilst it is always busy when i have driven past, when I went in to pay my bill it took around 2 minutes to complete!

Check with your Bank first, as some Banks do pay the Water Bill for you  We are with the ING Bank and they do pay our water bill.

I use the website service shown above by Stoop, works every time after I receive my bill.

Surprised that some people - including Her Maj - are now able to pay through their bank as we used to when water services were based in Fethiye.  When did this get introduced?  And how many of your last bills have been successfully paid using this method, and which banks do this other than ING or is it only them?

Finans do it also, we have just arranged this so not paid a bill thus way yet, hopefully it will be ok.  They have a list of the banks doing direct debits in the su office next to Bim in Fethiye.
